FORGIVENESS
Let us read Psalm 130:3
"If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?"
This verse shows us that Psalmist was under sin and was
repentant. He wonders if God could mark iniquities of men, who could stand before him, who is righteous. We see that God's standard of righteousness, which is perfection, is-a standard that none of us could ever attain, no matter how hard we try. Nevertheless, the psalmist goes on to say, "But there is forgiveness with You, that you may be feared." No one is perfect, but God in His mercy offers forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Certainly he will not record our transgressions, but will set them aside, when we repent of our sins.
Did you discover that you have failed God's standard? Then please place your
faith in Christ? Please try to realize what God has done for you when He sent
His One and Only Son, Jesus, to die for you.
If you have not yet accepted Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, is this
not the right time to yield to His will today. Please yield to Him.
