1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 1:13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Happy New Year

Other day I was listening to a Radio Program, in which the participants were asked to assert their resolution for the New Year 2006. It was interesting to listen to the New Year resolutions some of the participants made. One lady exclaimed, "I have a wonderful resolution to make"!. The host asked her curiously as to what that was. She loudly said, "I resolve not to make any resolution this year". I was wondering why she made tht resolution. Perhaps she could never keep up the resolutions that she made in the past. Then came a man’s turn and he said, "I want to buy a new car this year because the car I am driving is too old and people are laughing at me, when I drive".

While we eagerly listen to New Year resolutions each one makes in the churches this year, we may ponder over as to whether we will be able to stand up the resolutions that we make. Most of the people make resolutions and keep up their resolutions till the end of the year, while some of them break them immediately with in few days or weeks or months. It is indeed very hard to stand up to the resolutions we make if we do that indiscriminately without giving any thought as to what we are making.

My resolution for New Year 2006 is to live by faith and “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”. Hebrews 12:2

There is no greater joy for me than to live by faith in HIM, who has chosen me before the foundation of this world to be one of HIS precious possessions. I worship my God in my Lord Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

Today is the day of salvation. Please confess your sins to Jesus Christ and be blessed. Receive Salvation and eternal life.Jesus is the Way, the truth, and the life.
