"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. John 1:1
|
The verse in John Chapter 1 as cited above is the clear definition of who Jesus is. Jesus was the Word, He was with God and He is God Himself. Jesus is the creator of this world, he is the second person in the Trinity, consisting of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God exists in three persons and God is One. The three are not three Gods but One God and three persons in One. They have different functions yet, they are One, co-equivalent, co-existent.

When Adam fell from the presence of God by sinning against God, he was sent out of Garden of Eden. The sin Adam committed by eating the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden is inherited by all of us. Jesus Christ, who is also called, the last Adam had to incarnate and come down from heaven to bear our sins and die in our stead.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16
God loved us so much that He sent His one only one son Jesus Christ to this world for the remission of our sins. He was born of the virgin Mary, as a result of the works of the Holy Spirit and was raised a carpenter’s house of His earthly parents Joseph and Mary. Jesus is the Son of God and God Himself. Jesus said He is in the Father and Father in Him. Jesus is divine and human. While he was on this earth he had two natures one of divine and another of human. He did miracles and healed sick, and preached the Kingdom of God.
“All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him”. Matthew 11:27

By offering Himself upon the cross of Calvary, Jesus opened the way for everyone to be saved. Jesus died for our sake as an atonement of sacrifice. Jesus, who is righteous, declares us righteous upon our confession of our sins. "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God".Romans 3:25
Several sick were healed; the sins of several were forgiven by him, yet he was not accepted by the authorities at that time and was crucified. Romans chose Barabbas, a criminal to be released in place of him, So the governor Pilate released Barabbas and handed over Jesus to be crucified.

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. John 3:3
They parted his garments, they scourged him, they hurled insults on him and crucified along with two thieves; yet Jesus was so kind on those who crucified them. “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots”. Luke 23:34 Jesus also forgave one of the thieves who was crucified along with him, when the thief made prayer to him to remember him when Jesus comes into His Kingdom. Jesus immediately to him, “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise”. Luke 23:43
But on the third day Jesus rose from the dead and after providing purification for our sins ascended to heaven and is seated at the right of the Majesty.

Jesus died upon the cross of Calvary so that we may be reconciled unto Him. There is no difference, whether we are Jews or Gentiles; He died for all of us, and rose from the dead and ascended in to heaven. We, who were His enemies, are made His children. The opposition that was caused between Heaven and Earth by our committing sins is removed once and for all, by the appeasement of our sins by Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our sake. We are reconciled unto God through His blood that was shed upon the cross of Calvary.
Today is the day of Salvation. Please accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, and your Lord, to enter in to the Kingdom of God.

Dear Friend,
If you confess your sins to Jesus, and express faith in your heart that he died for you sins and rose from the dead, accept Him as your personal savior, and acknowledge with your mouth that he is your Lord, you will also be received in to Paradise immediately after your days on this earth.
God bless you,
