What does it mean to be
born-again?
What does it mean to be born-again?
John 3:3-5 "Jesus answered
and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be
born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be
born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of
water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God".
JESUS
SAVES YOU
Dear
brother/sister,
Jesus
Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead and ascended in to heaven. He is
seated at the right hand of the Majesty and His Second coming is very soon.
Holy Bible says God created man, in his own image and named him as Adam and God
put him in a very comfortable place called 'the garden of Eden' and gave him a
wife, whom Adam named as Eve. God gave Adam and Eve all the freedom except for
eating the forbidden fruit, which Eve and Adam ate and brought sin into this
world. In order to redeem mankind from their sin God sent his one and only son,
Jesus Christ, who died for our sake, was buried, rose from the dead and ascended
in to heaven.
"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look
for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation". Hebrews
9:28
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved". Romans
10:9
Faith in Lord Jesus Christ and confession by mouth are necessary aspects to
receive salvation free of cost. In addition, the belief that God raised Him from
the dead, includes all that is necessary to obtain salvation. Faith in Jesus
Christ alone saves a person. No amount of good works can get a person a place in
heaven. The works follow faith in Jesus Christ.
By offering Himself upon the cross of Calvary, Jesus opened the way for everyone
to be saved. Jesus died for our sake as an atonement of sacrifice. Jesus, who is
righteous, declares us righteous upon our confession of our sins. "Whom God hath
set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance
of God". Romans 3:25
"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for
the sins of the whole world".1 John 2:2
God loved us first and not that we did first. That is the reason why, though we
trespassed His commandments, He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to die
on our stead.
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son
to be the propitiation for our sins.1 John 4:10
"And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having
slain the enmity thereby: Ephesians 2:16
"And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all
things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things
in heaven. Colossians 1:20
Through the blood of Jesus Christ we have the redemption and the forgiveness of
our sins. God did that according to his riches in Grace. Grace alone saved us.
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of his grace; Ephesians 1:7
We are redeemed from our sins and have obtained forgiveness of our sins through
Jesus Christ.
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians 1:14
Jesus died upon the cross of Calvary so that we may be reconciled unto Him.
There is no difference, whether we are Jews or Gentiles; He died for all of us,
and rose from the dead and ascended in to heaven. We, who were His enemies, are
made His children. The opposition that was caused between Heaven and Earth by
our committing sins is removed once and for all, by the appeasement of our sins
by Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our sake. We are reconciled unto God
through His blood that was shed upon the cross of Calvary.
Today is the day of Salvation. Please accept Jesus Christ as your personal
Savior, and your Lord, to enter in to the Kingdom of God.
Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and died for our sake is resurrected and He is
living God. He will come soon to receive the saved ones in to the Kingdom of
God. Please do not lose this opportunity but confess your sins to him and be
saved.
God bless you.
